About This Race
The fourth annual Sankt Nikolaus 5k or 5 Miler Lauf continues to be a unique race added to Indianapolis' downtown running events and a special first for the holiday season. The race is again being hosted by the Indiana German Heritage Society who are raising proceeds for Riley Children's Hospital, the Indianapolis' YMCA "Y for All" Campaign, the children of Lutherwood, and the Athenaeum Foundation. We highly encourage you to dress in your best St. Nick suit!

Post Race & Holiday Music
The race will feature live commentary and play by play finishing. Included will be our favorite holiday tunes; but, we can only play St Nick's requests. Runners' will be able to gather in the warmth of the Athenaeum building where the YMCA has opened the doors for runners to clean up after the race. (You will not see this anywhere!)
